WMH Reading Curriculum:
Systematic
The program is structured around phonics, presented in a clear and sequential order. Instead of relying on a high-frequency word list, it uses a concept-based progression—arranging skills by level of difficulty. Students focus on mastering one concept at a time before advancing to the next.

Your child will have the skills to read every single word in the book with confidence. We only introduce words they are ready for, so there’s no frustration or guesswork—just steady, successful reading progress.

I’m Megan Ramirez, the founder of WMH Reading, where I specialize in helping children unlock the joy and confidence that comes with strong reading skills. With over 20 years of experience teaching reading through private lessons, group classes, and my work as a contracted reading specialist in the Bay Area, I’ve guided hundreds of students to real, measurable success.
I hold both a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, giving me a unique ability to blend educational expertise with professional, family-friendly systems that make learning simple and effective. Trusted by parents and educators alike, I’m dedicated to making reading not only accessible, but enjoyable for every child I teach.
